About Biddenden Farm

The Richards family has been farming in Biddenden since 1947. Opening the shop was the next step in the progression of the business at Pullen Barn Farm.
Provenance is the focal point for the farm shop, sourcing from our own farm and then working closely with local farmers and producers to bring a wide range of quality Kentish produce.

Background

In 1957 Thomas and Betty Richards moved to Biddenden and purchased Pullen Barn Farm , a dairy Farm. In 1995 when they decided that dairy was not the path for them. Hugh, their son decided to set up in beef cattle and so began his beef herd at Pullen Barn Farm plus a herd of pigs. .
We believe that we are just guardians of the countryside looking after it for future generations to come. We recycle our rain water, use green manure and reduce our use of inorganic fertiliser.
