About Little Farthingloe Farm

Set in a number of our flint Victorian farm buildings we have a long established farm shop, butchers and bakery and have recently added a cider shop with a children's gifts area.
We have a fabulous trail through our ancient woodland and a natural play area for children. We also have a small Women's Land Army Museum.

Background

Little Farthingloe Farm was bought by the Richardson family 35 years ago as a collection of Victorian agricultural buildings dating from the late 1800s. The farm shop opened in 1982, the bakery was added in 1992 and the butchery in the mid 90s.
In 1994 work began to convert the grain store into the restaurant. Many of the wooden conveyor belts that were used to dry the grain remain visible in the barn today.

Product Description

Much of the produce including cabbages, cauliflowers, potatoes, apples and strawberries are sourced from local farms in Kent. They are freshly picked and collected direct from the farms to go straight onto our shelves.

The bakers at Farthingloe bake through the night to create a range of breads, cakes and pastries. All of our bakery goods are baked from scratch and the cakes all home-made. Hot food such as Cornish pasties, cheese and bacon slices and sausage rolls are all made on the farm and available daily.
