About Mockbeggar Farm

As well as our fruit farms we have a warm and friendly Farm shop and Tea Room where we focus on supporting small local suppliers where we can and much of our produce is local to Kent. In addition to fresh fruit and vegetables, which are delivered daily all year round, we stock a range of juices, pies, preserves, chutneys, pickles, eggs, coffee, cakes, biscuits and our own soft and stone fruit.

Background

It all started at Decoy Farm with soft fruit but is now devoted to orchards and comprises some 60ha on the edge of the North Kent Marshes, boarding the RSPB Northwood Reserve.
In 2004 Mockbeggar Farm, comprising 80 ha of soft and stone fruit, and Blacklands Farm,,comptising 20ha of mainly soft fruit were added to the Company. They are situated next door to each other ton the outskirts of the busy Medway towns and a stone throw from London.
In 2009 John and Kim took on Mockbeggar Packing ltd to secure packing facility for themselves and other growers.
