About Oastbrook Estate Vineyard

What started with a passion for wine and Sussex, has turned into an Estate Vineyard dedicated to quality and sustainability. Our desire is to bring the history of the English countryside alive through spectacular wines. Oastbrook is a vineyard on the Kent / Sussex border ,near Bodiam Castle, with still and sparkling wines made on site in our own winery. Our vineyard is a proud member of the Sussex Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), which produces the highest quality of grapes.

Background

England is home to some amazing wines, but Sussex wines are the most special. Our climate and location makes for some spectacular sparkling wines. Often compared with Champagne of France, Sussex’s sparkling wines are among the best in the world. 
 
We are not just known for sparkling wines like Sparkling Cuveé and Sparkling Rosé, but many red and white still wines. The English climate often produces wines with crisp acidity and a surprisingly rich palette.

Product Description

The Oastbrook Vineyard Tour & Wine Tasting will first start out with a tour through the vineyards, where you will experience a true English vineyard and learn exactly how grapes are grown and how they eventually become wine. 
 
Experience the passion and dedication of vineyard owner America Brewer, on a fun filled, information packed vineyard tour. Not only will you learn about the establishment of the vineyard, you will also see all our different grape varieties with plenty of interactive experiences and stories along the way. We will finish our vineyard tour, of course with a wine tasting, where you will get to sample four of our award winning wines along with a delicious cheese platter. The Oastbrook vineyard tour & tasting is ideal for the season wine connoisseur and for the budding wine novice. Our wine experience has something for the type of wine drinker. Considered one of the best vineyards in England by Condé Nast Traveller and The Week UK, we are looking forward to welcoming you to a Vineyard Tour & Tasting on your next visit to Sussex.
