This section has been developed to help Stallholders find new Markets and Markets to find more Stallholders.
All you have to do is to inform [email protected] or [email protected] that you want to find more markets or you wish to expand your market and we will add your request on to the system. Then just keep your eye open for matches. All the contact information for both Stallholder and Market are displayed
In order to attract Market Managers it is essential that the information we hold is both correct and promotes your produce. (You can send any changes to the existing information to kfma at the same time). We will keep your request open live on the web site for 2 months, unless you inform us that you would like to carry on for another 2 months.
The easiest way is to do more of what you do now i.e. sell at more markets. Selling wholesale is another route but being a new approach will require more planning and more time. However, even to sell your produce at more markets, you still have to spend time finding out which markets are interested in your products and determine the impact it would have on on your production schedules. We will be expanding the system in the near future to add wholesale Opportunities)
Firstly check the information held on the 'kfma web site' is correct and up to date (especially your contact information i.e. tel and email). Go to the kfma 'Home page' and scroll down to ‘Produce and Producers’. Click on the Product you sell and then click on your Trading Name. The description you see is what both Market Managers and customers see. If you are a KFMA Member you will also see your own web page.
Send an email to [email protected] or [email protected] that you (i.e. you i.e. your Trading name) wish to find new markets and, if necessary, add any changes you wish to make to the existing information, contact details and markets attended information we hold.
Complete (This form is designed for both new Members and non Members) and send details to [email protected] .
Your details will be added to the ‘Products Offered’ listing within the ‘OPPORTUNITIES’ . Note:-Your name will be on the list for 2 months You will receive a warning that your listing prior to the final date and your details will be deleted from OPPORTUNITIES unless you RECONFIRM to [email protected]. This is the listing which Market Managers will see and, if they are interested, they will contact you directly.
The ‘Products Sought ' listing which informs you of 'Markets looking for Produce'. If you find a match click on the name of the Market in the listing to display the Market information where you will find the Market Manager's contact details
There are over 500 Stallholders on our Producer database. To find new Producers who have informed us they are looking to trade at new markets you can now use the 'OPPORTUNITIES' system to find them. The system has been developed to help you find both Producers looking to find new markets and to help you find new producers missing from your markets.
Firstly check your information held on the kfma web site is correct, including contact data, social media links and stallholders attending the market. o to the kfma Home Page Market list and click on your market's name. Check all information is up to date
Inform [email protected] or [email protected] that you are looking for stallholders selling the produce you are missing, together with the changes you wish to make to the existing information, contact details and stallholder list
You will need to add all basic produce you need to get started e.g. Bakery, Cakes, Cheese, Chutneys, Coffees & Teas, Fruit, Meat, Jam, Vegetables, Fish etc etc
Your Market will be added to the 'Products Sought' listing within the ‘OPPORTUNITIES’ system. Note:-Your Market will be on the list for 2 months You will receive a warning that your listing is about to be be deleted from OPPORTUNITIES unless you RECONFIRM to [email protected]. Producers will look at this listing and will contact you if they are interested.
The ‘Products Offered’ listing informs you of Producers looking for Markets. If you re interested in their produce click on the name of the Producer (this will display his description and contact details )and contact him/her directly.
